The Office for Students (OfS) regulates English higher education providers on behalf of all students. We are seeking to recruit two Principal Analysts to join us to work in our supportive, enthusiastic, and high performing Data, Foresight and Analysis Directorate. The OfS is a new regulator that has recently undergone significant organisational restructuring to align itself to its new role and purpose. This is an exciting time to join the organisation at a time of great change within regulation and the higher education sector.
Principal Analyst (Gateways) The purpose of the role is to lead a team of data analysts responsible for developing, implementing and quality assuring the data used in OfS`s gateways processes, delivering robust data that supports market entry and exit and the transparency condition data is well defined and published by OfS. The role will be 0.7fte.
You will need to have excellent communication and negotiating skills and the ability to build constructive, sustainable working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and senior managers. These are senior roles that will require the successful candidates to navigate and appreciate the political environment that OfS operates.
